Giving Back

Here at Flying Circle, we're grateful each and every day for you, our loyal customers.  We know that we wouldn't be here without you.  So, we do our best to honor you by supporting charitable organizations in our area and beyond.  Again, we couldn't do these things without you!

Here are some of the ways Flying Circle is giving back:

OPERATION BACKPACK

In cooperation with U.S. Cavalry and the 7th Special Forces Group in Afghanistan, Flying Circle Bags donated 500 backpacks for the children of Afghanistan.  The backpacks were packed with school supplies and personal items and were distributed to Afghan boys and girls for their new school year.

GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS

When the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts called on us to help with their community service project, we were honored to donate bags to help out.  The Girl Scouts packed the bags full of goodies to make children's "care packages" for a local child protective services agency.  Each child that goes through the agency receives one of these lovingly prepared care packages.

RED CROSS & SALVATION ARMY

After Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and Hurrican Ike in 2008, many evacuees found themselves in San Antonio with very little in the way of personal belongings.  By partnering with the Red Cross and Salvation Army, Flying Circle Bags was able to donate over 10,000 bags, backpacks, & duffels to displaced people during these Gulf Coast disasters.

CHILD LEGACY INTERNATIONAL

This organization in Malawi Africa works with families and children in poverty stricken villages to increase access to healthcare and to provide vocational & agricultural training.  Flying Circle Bags donates warehouse space for consolidation and collection of items donated from the US for this organzation.  In addition, we are honored to donate bags to this wonderful program.

1ST CAV BRAVO 2-5 REUNION

The 1ST Cav Bravo 2-5 group served in the Vietnam war.  These veterans hold an annual reunion to re-connect with old friends and reflect on their shared service to our country.  FCB was pleased to donate bags so that each and every Veteran attending the reunion received a bag.  It's a small token, but it reflects our huge appreciation for the sacrifice that these Veterans and all service members make for our country.

AND MANY MORE.......

Other organizations to which Flying Circle is proud to contribute include:  A Soldier's Christmas sponsored by Boerne United Methodist Church, Brooke Army Medical Center at Ft. Sam Houston, the Christian Women's Job Corps of Kendall County, the Boerne Public Library, the Hill Country Animal League, the 338th Military Intelligence Battalion, the LCpl Daniel "Nate" Deyarmin Memorial Benefit Run, and the Boerne Centurions.
